Blueberry Ledge Trail is packed down after people yesterday and the people before us today. We were fine in spikes all the way. Anything past Whiteface, it seems like snowshoes are needed. We took the Blueberry Ledge Cutoff on the way down, which was less traveled, so we used snowshoes. I'd recommend people to still use them on that trail even though there are sections where they aren't needed. McCrillis Path and Tom Wiggin Trail were broken out a little, but snowshoes is still probably better for them. McCrillis Trail and Kate Sleeper Trail had no tracks. Today was a beautiful day to be out and Whiteface has lots of fun ledge scrambles and many views. |
