I parked on the road with just enough room to pull off. It appears that knockers hole tr. starts in a driveway, so I bushwhacked to meet it. Lots of signs of hunters. |

| Comments: |
Snow was much less than I expected with an average of only a few inches of crusty cover. There was a little more near the top of the main peak. I still favored snowshoes. Woods were mainly open.
I bushwhacked east and quickly caught knockers hole tr., which I followed between the peaks. I stated with the west peak that was steep and had a couple of cliffy scrambles. The top is messy with thorny regrowth and blowdowns; there are some views. I retraced my tracks to the trail and made my way up the main peak. It was a very nice open woods bushwhack to the recognized summit. |
