Comments: Nice snowshoe hike to this NH 4000 Footer. We were the 1st folks to hit this trail since the last storm as we strapped on our snowshoes at the trailhead. Snow depth down low started at 6" and by the time we hit the summit was a good 18" and drifts to 30".

Just below the summit we were caught by another hiker sporting snowshoes who jumped out front for a bit and then graciously gave it back for the finial ledge scramble to the summit that brought wind of 40 MPH +/- to give it a little adrenaline boast! There was also 2 other who caught up at this scramble that had plans to go on to Pierce but wisely decided against due to lack of visibility.

On our return trip we ran into herds of barebooter that trashed the well packed trail….. lets go people get those snowshoes strapped on
