Comments
Comments: hike #3. we did this loop counter clockwise in anticipation of the wet soggy places we might encounter on Three Ponds, but it wasn't bad at all. Mt. Kineo trail is well-blazed, but it is probably a bit grown in when the foliage is out. Where the trail gets closer to marsh and the ponds, it became soggier, but nothing that we had to BW around. overall snow depth was about 6 inches, but it was borderline mashed potatoes and again we just barefooted. we met a hunter in the parking lot as we got back to the car, which explained the fresh off trail boot prints that we saw a long the way.
