Comments
Comments: Great morning to get these peaks: bluebird skies, views to VT, low wind, fairly warm temps. Had the entire ridge to myself!!! Some big drifts on the ridge; I got off-trail a few times. Bridle Path *was* in great shape for the ascent. Falling Waters was a crap-shoot - in places it was well-packed, other places getting badly postholed (this is a classic barebooter trail). I was a little surprised to see several very unprepared-looking groups with almost no equipment (no snowshoes, packs, anything) above 4000' and heading higher, despite incoming weather.... AWESOME waterfall ice formations!!!!
