1 to 2 " of snow on most of the trail. Near the top ice was under the snow in some places and the summit had bare rock. Saw a hunter on the trail carrying a gun. We didn't think hunting was allowed in that area. We didn't need traction yet but if the soft snow freezes tonight it might be helpful. |
