Comments
Comments: We did the Webster-Jackson loop clockwise and found the snow cover and conditions surprisingly good. Some ice lower down but none serious and softening later in the morning. At higher elevations there is probably a foot of snow at least, with more on the way tonight. We stayed in spikes for the full loop with no postholing on the well broken trails. (We turned around at the Webster summit, but it looked like Webster Cliff was also broken southward.) We had great views up top of peaks, clouds, and blue skies. The waterfall alone on the Webster Branch is worth making this fine hike.
