Comments
Comments: Crystal clear skies but wow it was cold when you stopped. Trace of snow until about 1 mile and we donned spikes at around 1.5 mi since we knew it was inevitable. Running water around the 1.6 mi/1.9 mi Brook crossings. Wore regular hiking boots however winter boots would have been a better idea.

Glencliff trail was a great choice to be sheltered from the wind, mostly. A party of 10 Haike slightly behind us did a great job packing everything down. Lots of people out today despite the temps.

Training day for us as we ready for the Grand Canyon and its 5200’ ascent. Time to step it up!
