| Comments: |
From Gale River Rd. to summit of Garfield is very well Broken. Trail is hard pack all the way. Probably could do entire hike with Microspikes. I started bare booting but put the snowshoe on at 2300' after a couple minor post-holes. Kept them on for rest of hike until I got back the road.
Beautiful but cold day. |
