| Comments: |
No snow and lots of wet slippery leaves for about the first 2.5 miles, trace - 3" + snow to junction, fresh few inches closer to summit. Put on rock spikes at junction, wore them down further perhaps 0.5 - 0.75 miles below junction. Met a couple hiking friends on descent. It is always a pleasure to see some folks you have hiked with especially when they bring cold beer. Lots of water flowing down trail as would be expected. The views were awesome, could see my hand when held outstretched! Oh well, if you wait for views, you won't hike much. |
