Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the Lafayette Campground parking lot.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No water crossings on Lonesome Lake Trail. The water levels on Cascade Brook trail were very high and dangerous to cross right now.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lonesome Lake Trail blowdown about .10 mile from CG and about .70 mile, both can be removed easily with an axe.. There is a rock that got loose from a rock water bar, but not sure of the mileage marker.

It is well worth it this time of year to stop into the hut to grab a hot drink and yummy treat. Don't forget to say "Hi" to Schubert, the newest crew member.
