For both hikes, we started on fallen leafs but soon hit snow and went to microspikes. Higher up the snow was a foot or more deep, crusty, and suitable for snowshoes. For Black, we did a clockwise loop from the cabin to the summit. Good views and beautiful skies on two fine 52wav hikes. Great to be back on the snow. |
