| Comments: |
Barebooted up to Franconia Ridge Trail, then put on our spikes for almost the rest of the hike. Decent amount of fluffy light snow along the ridge hiding rocks and roots but very boney underneath. Some ice in spots below treeline on Old Bridle Path. Conditions will changed dramatically over the next 48 hours so plan accordingly.
Amazing weather and incredible views from along the ridge of vivid white capped peaks under a bluebird sky. Fun day out with Todd & Larisa. |
