| Comments: |
Mt. Tecumseh from the WV Ski area parking lot
a skim of sleet/snow over slick leaves at the bottom. After mile 1 the trail was snow covered. By the top the snow was easily 5-6" deep, covering almost all rocks, mid winter type conditions. Enough hikers the last few days that the snow is packed in the middle. Still light traction is advised, bare booting is possible but slippery. Snowshoes not needed today but the wind could change that in the next few. Be prepared with winter layers & gaiters above 3000 feet. |
