| Comments: |
Fall trail cleanup today for me. Started off in fall and quickly moved into winter as I ascended. The trail was wet to start with increasing snow depth as I got higher. I cleaned many of the waterbars but some were frozen in so they will have to wait till spring. Mixed bag of conditions today with fall conditions down low to full winter conditions higher up. I only went as far as West Tecumseh mainly due to not having snowshoes. Snowshoes would have been helpful from about a couple tenths below West Tecumseh and on. I was able to bare boot everything today with caution on the scrambles/steeps, some may want traction. Winter is here in the higher elevation so plan on it when you go out. Trace amount of snow at the trailhead with upwards of a foot and drifts on top of West Tecumseh |
