Comments
Comments: I hiked up Pitcher this afternoon to meet C, who was hiking over from Mt. Sunapee. Very wet trails due to a steady rain most of the day. The porch on the old fire warden's cabin is a decent shelter in wet weather. Limited views from the summit due to the low clouds.

For such a short hike, it was interesting ... A large step van had driven up the trail (old access road to fire tower) to service the equipment just below the summit. A sure-footed driver for sure. Near the trailhead, a possum was wandering around, possibly looking for food? In the parking area was another vehicle, engine running, no one in the front seats, and too darkly tinted to see if anyone was in the back. I heard music inside.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
