Comments
Comments: It was incredibly windy and snowy yesterday (Sunday). We saw very few people on the trail with us and no one else that had summited yet. Several people were attempting to make it to the Lake of the Clouds Hut, but not necessarily continuing to Mount Monroe. There was not enough snow to require snow shoes, but this may change in the upcoming week (check the weather forecast!). We were very very thankful for our microspikes- they handled all the rocks and ice wonderfully! Enjoy Monroe!
