Major part of this trip was doing Aarow Slide, prompted by Pete and Darcy, and this was my first time on the slide. Well it was an awesome experience in winter. Nicely broken out now if anyone chooses to try it.
The traditional trail was hard packed. we did run into one group of young guys "bare booting" and for the most part only 'post-holed" a few times, but one post hole should mean time to put on snowshoes...so much easier a hike with snowshoes anyway.
