Water Crossing Notes: Water level was low. Crossings were hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are some blow downs throughout the loop, but easily passed. The signs and blazes are rare. In general, the trail is still easy to follow ever without consistent blazes.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The trail is easily done by hiking pups.
Bugs: No bugs. On the summits, there are weirdly aggressive birds that will swoop looking for food and/or take your food out of your hand.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found:
Comments: The trail was interesting. It's an ok moderate loop. The summits do not have particularly great views (wooded summit), but it does offer some protection from the wind on colder days. We opted to ascend South loop because there are some icy patches and snow. North peak was easy to descend and there was no ice or snow. We packed microspikes in case of ice, but they were not needed. There is, however, a lot of mud.
