Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The old route of the Lincoln from just south of the Golf Course with the 'Link Tr.' sign is closed and due to the lower part being wrecked by logging. However, there is no sign stating this at the base. I spent a long time figuring this out. There is an alt route elsewhere.

Comments
Comments: I took the Lincoln Tr. from it's old start point all the way to the summit. I took the Rollins Tr. to the State Park lot and walked the road a short distance to the Sarge/Black col. From there, I bushwhacked in open woods along the ridge of black, hitting both highest contours. The southwest one is recognized and seemed higher to me. I then bushwhacked steeply down the NW slope hitting the Lincoln tr. A more challenging way to do Kearsarge, with over 2k vertical and over four miles each way on Lincoln.
