| Comments: |
Many hikers and skiers on trails. Plowed section of Zealand Road had compressed snow surface which is easy to walk with bare boots. Snowshoes or skis recommended for the unplowed section of Zealand Road. Good snowshoe trail on the Hale Brook trail with some disturbed surfaces from skiing activity. Trailway was pretty much intact along the birch lined stretch slabbing the slope high above Hale Brook with only an occasional spot with the snow giving way on the down slope side. Summit rock pile mostly buried under snow pack. The Lend-a-Hand Trail had a snowshoe track. |
