Comments
Comments: Valley way was pretty dry, a bit of mud on our way down. Watson path was well maintained. Rime ice on the rocks and a light dusting of snow made it a bit slippery on the summit cone. We didn't use microspikes but I'd say about one third of people were wearing them who came up on valley way. The top of valley way was a bit slippery from small patches of ice, many leaves, etc but it was avoidable. I'd recommend bringing them in case you feel you need them as more ice.was accumulating from melting snow spots. Overall great hike! Peak foliage in the valley and snow on top, fantastic views!
