| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The parking lot was empty when I got there and when I left. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing at 1.0 mile was easy, and there are options upstream for crossing at higher water levels. The second one was dry. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All of the blowdowns on both trails are easy to get past. Most of them are 12 inches in diameter and larger. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
I thought I wasn't going to see anyone all day. While I was hanging around at the summit in the vain hope that the clouds would clear, along came Kingston (bichon mix?) and two of his two-legged friends. |

| Comments: |
Well it finally happened: a 52WAV peak with NO VIEW on a cloudy Columbus Day. The condensed water on most surfaces seemed to bring out the fall foliage colors of leaves within close viewing range. A return trip is in order for this nice hike. |
