Comments
Comments: A great day for round two of the Hancock duo. Ascended South and descended North - most definitely the preferred way. South is steeper (albeit slightly shorter). North is looser rock here and there but a mellower grade and narrower. Mud here and there on Hancock Notch Tr., Cedar Brook Tr., and between South/North peaks. Avoidable for the most part but expect some nice mud covered calves at the end of the day if you're like me and rock shorts mid December. Great color in the leaves today and plenty on the ground (South ascent much more leaf covered than North so watch your footing folks!).
