Lost and Found
Lost and Found: ALMOST lost my crocs. I had tucked them under a rock after using them to cross...I mean, why carry them all the way to the summit and back? I had done this in July, with lots of foot traffic, no problem A group of hikers was just passing by the end of the Brutus bw, we exchanged a "hi," and I headed to the brook to re-don my crocs...but they were GONE. I had to jog after the group in hopes of catching them, because I guessed (correctly) that they had picked up my crocs. I got them back, with no other explanation except that they are in the habit of picking things up....what's that all about? WHY????? So if anyone ever sees tan crocs around that final crossing, PLEASE LEAVE THEM BE!

Except for almost losing my crocs (which would have resulted in me wading in my boots!), a very pleasant hike, and a BEAUTIFUL day!
