Comments
Comments: somewhat of a late start..no one around at all..left crampons in the car and headed for passaconway..Trail in great shape soft packed with a few firmer spots..perfect snowshoe track. Made great time to summit and opted for out and back to Whiteface via Rollins. Very soft in spots..drifted over in others but overall a good corridor and nice trip..had the bejeezus scared out of me by a grouse of some sort... Not a breath of wind today and while it looked like some had come up ledges and done Whiteface only I did not see a soul all day. Descent via Rollins was a blast with lots of loose snow..great day out
