Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The scrubby sections of both trails on Pitcher are very narrow and brushy. Three large blowdowns right in a row about 0.8 mi. north of Pitcher. The first requires a bypass. The second is a stepover. The third was completely blocking the trail, but I trimmed it enough to get through. It still requires a duckunder.

Comments
Comments: Up to Pitcher and then over to Hubbard and Jackson and then back. A mix of dry and wet trail with a few areas of standing water and minor mud. Excellent views from all three peaks. The summit post / sign on Hubbard is still down. Andorra Forest between Hubbard and Fox Brook Campsite is deep, dark and beautiful. I didn't see anyone until I got back to Hubbard, then encountered two groups of backpackers and a small crowd on Pitcher. Nice cool temps but not as sunny as forecast, especialy in the morning. Foliage colors are starting to pop!
