Large birch blowdown about a quarter of a mile up. Lots of failing stone steps and rock waterbars for unmitigated erosion. |

A few mosquitoes and black flies, but minimal. |

| Comments: |
Trail was fairly dry below the second water crossing, but very wet thereafter. Lots of wet rock, running water, mud, etc.
Leaves still generally green, but red hobblebush starting to pop up. |
