A few minor blowdowns but all reported impassable earlier this summer was cleared back in July apparently |

At one point, past the Sphinx - GG intersection, shortly before Spaulding Lake - you basically need to hike up an active stream for a few steps. Trail isn’t marked (anywhere since it’s a wilderness trail) but if you make it through the stream, the last difficult place to find the trail isn’t til about 2/3 up the headwall.
We parked in Pinkham Friday night and did this as a big loop leaving via Old Jackson Road/Madison Gulf then following GG to its end right below summit. Returned via Tuckermans |
