Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Signage is good on the Dry River Trails here. No blazes on the Mt. Eisenhower Tr. or the Isolation tr.(west). The Mt. Eisenhower tr. Is easy to follow. The lower half of the Isolation Tr. is tough in places as its been damage from landslides and the drainage that it follows has washed away the banks the trail use to be on. The upper half is in good shape with a few blowdowns here and there. There is also a huge blowdown section just below the Mizpah hut on the Dry river cut off. Passable but still many step overs.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw 3 dogs at Mizpah the seemed to be having a good time .
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Sweater hanging in tree on lower section of crawford path. Found one glove on Isolation tr. (west) its in the dump now.

Comments
Comments: Up early and caught the sunrise on Mt. Eisenhower. Two guys came up the Edmands Path to catch the tale end of it. They were headed back down but i was off to Mt. Isolation as it was the last of my Sept. NH48. I lost the trail around the Dry River crossing but finally found the junction of the Isolation trail. It appears these trail are likely traveled and damaged from the floods so following it is not for a novice. Nevertheless the upper portion seemed long but was a nice trail and easy to follow. Sat in the sun on Mt. Isolation where i ran into hiker 3,4,5,and 6. Then didn't see a sole till i got to Mizpah hut. It was a great day to hike out to Isolation and grab some red lines at the same time.
