| Comments: |
The lower three miles of trail are easy. Then it gets steeper until it flattens out through some scenic boggy areas until the trail junction. There were many AT hikers, almost entirely NOBOs. I saw not one other person on Kanduskeag Trail. The summit view was spectacular. Views to Mt. Moriah, the Carters, Baldfaces, etc. were clear, and the great ghostly shapes of Madison, Adams, and Jefferson revealed themselves through the haze in the distance. |
