most rock-hoppable. One I waded through. This is relatively a personal thing at this point. If you're really tall, and don't mind wet feet, no issues, if you're really short, and hate wet feet, bring water shoes, if you're amazing at rock hopping (and a little lucky) you'll be bone dry |

saw a few, all friendly. None on Owl's Head, mostly near Franconia brook area |

zero... except on the damn summit! Lots of flies |
