Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Well maintained for the most part. A little narrow in some spots with the forest closing in.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There was a very young and very nervous pup at the summit. Another barking up a storm at the trains.

Comments
Comments: I don't know what made me want to climb the Rock Pile the long way today but I'm glad I didn't talk myself out of it. A long, fun, challenging, and somewhat unorthodox loop with more solitude than I could ever dream of getting on most if not all of the other approaches to the summit.
