Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water is high at 3rd crossing but can be rockhopped(even for a 70 year old). Tributaries after 3rd crossing no problem.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall trails are in good shape. There a few blowdowns that are easily to go over. After river crossing, some portions of the North Twin Tr higher up have very loose gravel and rock. Combine this with being wet you have a nice chance of falling. Be careful.

Comments
Comments: Going up not as bad as advertised but going down is another story. Fell twice and hurt my back about a mile from crossing. You read about kindness but seldom experience it. Along comes a hiker named Tom from Connecticut. He stayed with me back to the 3rd crossing talking and encouraging. At the crossing he made 3 crossings. One to bring his pack across, two to bring my pack across, and three to make sure I got across. To top it all off he carried my pack all the way back to my truck. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness.
