| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small lot off Tripoli Road. At 8:00AM the lot was full so vehicles parked on the south side of Tripoli Road. The road is in decent condition from I-93 to the lot. Someone reported to me that Tripoli Road was in bad shape in places from Waterville Valley to the lot. There was some trees cleared in an area adjacent to the existing parking lot. Perhaps the lot will be expanded? |

| Comments: |
The Mt Osceola Trail has easy to moderate grades except for the steep chimney between Mt Osceola and East Osceola. The wet ledge areas can be slippery although it should not be difficult with careful foot placement. Nice views today especially the north outlook on the short side path before arriving at the large ledge area. Puddles on trail on the top of Mt Osceola where the water can't percolate. Some mud areas between the two peaks. Nice to see Monkeys Uncle again. Also saw MIT Outing Club again. Hiked with Dan and Johanna for a good stretch. |
