Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All water crossings navigable without problems
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a few blowdowns, but there is evidence of active work on the trail to clear them up
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: plenty of water on falling waters trail, but none except a puddle at the top of Lafayette. Bring water
Bugs: some down below tree line, but the breeze kept them off on the ridge
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: found a couple old discarded water bottle, but don't worry people, I picked up after whoever did it
Comments: Awesome day for the ridge. Needed a windbreaker at the top of Lafayette, but other than that, no problems. This was a Thursday and I thought that I would take Greenleaf down and walk the bike path back to avoid the crowds. When I got back to the parking lot after adding on 2 extra miles, the lot was barely full, so I could have avoided the slog.
