Comments
Comments: Had hopes of doing the Twins but the N Twin trail wasn't broken out so we peeled off and broke out the Fire Warden Trail. Lots of back-country skiers had broken out 2/3's, Wildpeaks and I finished it off to the summit. Trail from the parking lot to the kiosk was easy to follow. No problems along N Twin just a little water along the river. Fire Warden, as this seems to be called, was a great alternative to Hale Brook (which didn't appear to be broken out as of Saturday). Lend a hand also appears to be unbroken. Snowshoes were the footwear du jour. Crampons are overkill.
