Comments
Comments: I went up Falling Waters, over the ridge, and down Old Bridal. The entire way up to Little Haystack was fairly well broken out, with just a couple of inches of fresh, light snow in the last 24 hours. Snowshoes up to just before Little Haystack, then mostly bare boots across the ridge. Between Lincoln and Lafayette I put on microspikes, and then snowshoes again approaching Lafayette. There were some major drifts before Lafayette, and I dropped chest deep into one before putting snowshoes on. I kept the snowshoes on the entire descent, though there were a few spots on the greenleaf trail where they got in the way.
