| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
No problem parking mid week. Lot holds about a dozen or so cars. About 1/4 full today. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No problems as all crossings were very low. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The lower sections of Rattle River could use some brushing, otherwise in very good shape. The upper sections have nice rock steps which help with the steepness. Several large blowdown which can be stepped/climbed over on Rattle River have been there a long time. Kenduskeag has some muddy/boggy sections but they were small. That trail is also in good shape, could use some fresh yellow blazes on the ledges. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw none |
|
| Bugs: |
No problems in morning or on summit/ridge. However, in the late afternoon descending Rattle River the skeeters were fierce in the lower sections. |

Nice quiet summit. Only people I saw were AT thru-hikers descending Rattle River while I was ascending. |
