Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nothing of significance; most areas are quite dry/low.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The section of Crawford Path around Mt. Monroe is closed. An AT through hiker was not pleased with being forced into the extra up and downs of Monroe. Unbelievable job by trail crews on the blow downs around Mizpah Spring Hut and Nauman Tentsite. This was my first trip through there this year, and the damage is unreal.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw about a half dozen pups out there, all enjoying the bluejay day.
Bugs
Bugs: None. Above treeline and winds kept them at bay.

Comments
Comments: The one day Presi Traverse is done! All trails are in fine shape, only thing to note was the closure on Crawford Path. Perfect weather for this hike, although that brought out all the tourists at Washington. All hut Croos were tremendous with their hospitality and insight as always.
