Lots of overgrowth on the first mile of Bunnell Notch Trail from the road and around 2 miles or more of the Unknown Pond trail |

Some black flies for the first and last miles from the road/parking. Not too fierce but certainly made their presence known |

| Comments: |
Beautiful day for a hike with moderate temps and views all the way to Mansfield in VT and the Mahoosucs. Lots of overgrowth on this loop so check for ticks and bring repellent. Muddy in a lot of spots - if it looks deep it likely is. |
