All trails were in good shape except Nelson Crag just below treeline. Passable, but very overgrown. No significant blowdowns, but many small branches growing into/across the trail. A couple hours with a pair of clippers would return the trail to a much more pleasant state. |

No shortage of black flies up top, both the little kind and the big kind (horseflies?). Was less noticeable lower down. |

Beautiful day up in the Whites. Trails all in great shape except for the one note I put under maintenance. |
