| Comments: |
19MB was well packed out but a bit soft for barebooting or spikes. MSR's the whole way until the descent down polecat when we went to microspikes. Wildcat Ridge up to A Peak was broken out by about 3-4 people. We made 3 more and there was a group behind us. WRT from A-D was unbroken. Snow depths varied wildly from 8" to well over 2' from drifting. With the 3 of us the trail is now roughly broken out. Clouds didn't come in until late so we had great views. No problem descending Polecat. |
