Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at Livermore. Rode bikes up to where Tripyramid Trail joins Livermore trail for the south peak.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: minor at the bottom of South Tripyramid. Easily hopped.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Scaur trail is skinny, but nice & gradual and not rocky, which is always a nice surprise in the Whites! Passed a couple clearing blowdowns near a trail junction. No major blowdowns or impasses. Signage is good. Limited blazing due to being in the wilderness, but trails are easy to follow.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Brought our dog and passed 3 others going in opposite direction. She did great on the south slide.
Bugs
Bugs: A little bit of a nuisance in spots when we stood still, but not unbearable.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: Fun hike! Avoided north slide by taking this route & I would do this again for sure. The south slide was challenging and slow going down, but fun because it was our first time.
