Comments
Comments: Even though it was a cruddy day, the rain held out. Zealand Trail was quite picturesque with numerous overlooks for the waterfalls. Zealand Hut was not too crowded- perhaps a thru-hiker or two. Plenty of folks at the summit; none sticking around too long with the weather threatening. Lend-A-Hand was probably the easiest ascent of a 4000 footer we'd done yet. Caution on the slippery sections- lots of wet rocks and smaller rocks making for a challenging descent though brief.
