Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My dog (17 lbs) was able to make it up the steep ridge trail well, but bigger dogs might have issues with all of the rocks!
Bugs: Black flies were pretty bad throughout (had to eat my lunch while walking to keep them off).
Lost and Found
Lost and Found:
Comments: It was a great day to be out, with clear views of the Presidentials throughout the hike! I took Wildcat Ridge up, despite knowing that it was pretty steep, but kind of had the wind knocked out of me with how difficult it was. Took Polecat ski trail down to avoid descending down the ridge and it was easy to follow with a pretty clear trail that hikers have tamped down.
