Broke trail with phil to Jackson and back. About 1 ft of new snow down low increasing to 2 ft higher up with deeper drifts. A little ice and bare rock on the cone. Snowshoes will be the footwear of choice this weekend. Great to meet Phil in the parking lot. A couple sets of feet made the hike much more enjoyable. This new snow is just what the trails needed. Great to be out and even managed to make it to work on time this afternoon. |
