 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking in the lot on High St. Only one other car when we got there about 7:15 am. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All water easily crossable; some slippery rocks |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
DOC had likely been up clearing blowdowns, some partially. The rocky section below the junction with Carriage needs a little help with a few steps and such out of place due to erosion. Some new signage had been added since we climbed it in winter. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of happy, well-behaved dogs- including a very friendly one who was hoping I han't finished my bacon jerky :) |
 | Bugs: |
Mosquitoes down low, black flies up high, one of us picked up a tick even with insect shield clothes. |

 | Comments: |
Great day, great views- boys had a great time. Windy and cool as might be expected above treeline- just need a windshirt or shell. Saw three thru-hikers and got mistaken for one, too! Lots of friendly folks at the summit, most coming up from the other trails. |
