| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
This was a Wednesday and it was scattered shower forcast/cloudy so that may have affected the people at the lot, as such it was nearly empty when we started and when we finished. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
It rained the days before and I was surprised the crossings were manageable, lower flow than normal it seemed. Easy rock hopping. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Very well signed and evidence of very recent blowdown cleanup. One or two logs remained over the trail but were easy to pass. At a few of the steep sections draining water had undercut some logs that were put in place to stop flow of water down the trail. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
We had a small (20lbs) dog who had no trouble with the trail. There are some very steep sections that might not be easy for a larger dog. Also parts of the trail dropped off significantly to the left/right so caution for those sections is needed. |

| Bugs: |
None noticed. |

| Comments: |
Overall this was a great hike for cloudy/wet days, brook crossings weren't bad and there weren't too many sections that would be slippery when wet (trail was mostly gravel/sand) though there were areas of heavy roots that were slippery. |
