Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All minor streams easily crossed.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in mostly good shape, well signed and blazed. WCBT could use some brushing near the beaver ponds. I removed two very minor leaners along the way.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure.
Bugs
Bugs: I thought the mosquitoes would be better with the cooler, drier air and breeze, but I was mistaken.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: These trails were mostly dry with just a few areas of minor mud near wet areas. Doing this loop counter clockwise provides for a steep climb up to the outlook, where views where excellent today. The Sandwich Range was clearly visible beyond the Belknaps. I didn't really notice any black flies, but mosquitoes were out in force. The head net is coming in very handy. :)
