Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All minor streams easily crossed. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in mostly good shape, well signed and blazed. WCBT could use some brushing near the beaver ponds. I removed two very minor leaners along the way. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure. |
| Bugs: |
I thought the mosquitoes would be better with the cooler, drier air and breeze, but I was mistaken. |
| Lost and Found: |
Nothing. |

| Comments: |
These trails were mostly dry with just a few areas of minor mud near wet areas. Doing this loop counter clockwise provides for a steep climb up to the outlook, where views where excellent today. The Sandwich Range was clearly visible beyond the Belknaps. I didn't really notice any black flies, but mosquitoes were out in force. The head net is coming in very handy. :) |
